Riverfront Park
Riverfront Park is considered one of the most scenic urban parks in the nation! Riverside State Park
Riverside State Park is a 14,000-acre camping park along the Spokane and Little Spokane rivers. The park supports a wide variety of recreational activities and is rich in history. Freshwater marshes, running rivers, and beautiful countryside make up the terrain. The park also includes the Nine Mile Recreation Area, which is available for camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing and boating. 
Huntington Park
This park lays at the heart of the Spokane River on the south bank. It was redeveloped to give residents and visitors a close-up look at the awesome power of this great river. The original Washington Water Power Post Street substation cast's its shadow on the park in the morning and the spray of the lower falls hangs in the air throughout the day making Huntington Park a legacy to the city.

Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture

Gonzaga University
Founded in 1881, Gonzaga University is a private, four-year institution of higher education. More than 105 buildings dot the 131-acre campus overlooking the Spokane River. Students include both women and men, who can enroll in a multitude of undergraduate or graduate programs. Festivals
Bloomsday
Bloomsday originated in 1977 and has been going strong ever since! It is a 12K race in which participants run or walk on a course that hits the best of Downtown Spokane. In past years the race has hosted over 60,000 participants and has prizes for the top runners and wheelchair racers. Always hosted in early May we encourage you to take part in a Spokane tradition and join us for the best race in the Inland Northwest. 
Pig Out in the Park
Pig Out in the Park is Spokane's favorite annual six-day food and entertainment festival. Open free to the public in Spokane's beautiful Riverfront Park; Pig Out in the Park features 45 great food booths, three adult beverage gardens and 100 free concerts on three stages! The beginning of September is the time to visit to catch the best food vendors Spokane has to offer and Pig Out like you've never pigged before! 
Spokane County Interstate Fair
The Spokane County Interstate Fair is the largest annual event in Spokane with over 180,000 guests attending last year! With livestock, carnival rides, concerts, the rodeo and more food vendors than you can count, this is the place to go for the best family and friends outing.
